MetaMask
Since the ZIG Chain v6 upgrade, ZIG Chain supports Ethereum-style accounts. You can connect MetaMask to Permapod like any other wallet and use every feature: supply, borrow, withdraw, repay and manage credit accounts.
Step 1 — Connect MetaMask
- Install MetaMask in your browser, if you don't have it yet.
- Go to app.permapod.xyz and click Connect Wallet.
- Select MetaMask (marked EVM account).
- Approve the connection in MetaMask.
- MetaMask asks to add and switch to the ZIG Chain network. Approve it. Permapod fills in the network details for you.
If you prefer to add the network yourself, use these details:

Step 2 — Your two addresses
A MetaMask account on ZIG Chain has two addresses. Both point to the same account and the same balance, written in two formats:

Open the wallet menu in the top-right corner of Permapod to see and copy both.
When you withdraw from an exchange or bridge tokens to ZIG Chain, send them to your Cosmos address (zig1…) shown in Permapod.
Step 3 — Add ZIG for fees
A new MetaMask address is empty on ZIG Chain, and an empty address can't send transactions. If your wallet holds no ZIG, Permapod shows Add ZIG to start with your address.
- Copy the address shown.
- Send a small amount of ZIG to it (see Transfer Assets).
- Wait on the screen. Setup continues on its own once the ZIG arrives. You don't need to reload.
Permapod then asks you to approve the one-time transaction that creates your credit account.
Step 4 — Signing transactions
MetaMask shows each Permapod transaction as a signature request listing its details (contract, action and amounts), not as a normal send screen. Check the details and click Sign. Fees are paid in ZIG from the same account.
Keplr and MetaMask are separate accounts
Keplr and MetaMask derive addresses differently. Even with the same recovery phrase, they give you two different zig1… addresses, each with its own balance, credit accounts and positions.
- Positions you opened with Keplr don't appear when you connect with MetaMask, and the other way round.
- You can't withdraw, from MetaMask, funds you supplied with Keplr. Your Keplr positions and their Health Factor stay unchanged.
- To use MetaMask instead, withdraw with Keplr, send the tokens to your MetaMask Cosmos address, then supply again with MetaMask.
Already using Keplr? You can keep using it. Nothing changes for existing Keplr accounts.
